She is soooo smart!!!

So this morning I’m watching headline news, waiting for my mom, and they’re talking about Haleigh Cummings. Now if you don’t know Haliehg Cummings is a five year old girl, who went missing about two weeks ago, from her FL home.

The particular show that I was watching is called Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell and during the course of the show they discuss different “issues” going on in the world. Of course in typical HLN style she has a “panel of experts, witnesses, etc.,” who help her discuss the issues, adding their opinions, knowledge or just anything that comes to mind for them. At times, it’s a very interesting show, but NOT TODAY!!

So I’m watching the show, because I’m trying to find out if they have anymore details about this missing girl, when the conversation turns to the father’s previous offenses. Then, this lady…., the host, WHO SHOULD KNOW BETTER, starts calling him a snitch (informant). I’m like “chick, have you lost your mind!!!” you don’t go calling someone a snitch on NATIONAL TELEVISION!!!! She basically put his life and everyone associated with him in danger, all for the sake of what!?… Ratings, publicity, news… ARE PEOPLE THAT STREET DUMB!!!

Look! I am by no means a supporter of the Stop Snitching campaign; But to call out a snitch on NATIONAL TELEVISION!?

THAT’S JUST DUMB!!!!

Yeah, I know some people think that criminals are stupid or lazy or whatever; but don’t get it twisted some CRIMINALS of that sort ARE DANGEROUS!! They’ll kill your whole family and think NOTHING of it. In just one line, she managed to endanger a house/community full of people, not to mention poor Haleigh.

Then they wonder why police officers don’t release information to the media, because for some reason reporters become so consumed with “the truth” and “the public’s right to know” that they don’t use COMMON SENSE!!!

Lesson number one for reporters: DON’T OUT SNITCHES ON PUBLIC FORUMS... they’re called Confident Informants for a reason.

No Love, Noemi
